After the last bout. The fencing salle is a night rental. Coach Sujin stands in the white jacket and will not put down the epee guard. A mask mark is still on her neck. She is married. Her husband is refereeing in the other hall.
“Don't take the mask off.” Walk out through the weapon cabinet and the night ends as lights out. Stay on the piste and it stops being a bout.
