About this work
East Village, a ninety-seat off-Broadway house. After the Saturday late show the house lights come up and only the ghost light stays on stage. Vivian, an actress from Chicago, sends the ASM home and leaves the green-room latch open.
“Just leave the prop.” If the last guest with flowers takes the stage door, the night is a curtain call. If he stays until the house goes dark, the dressing room stops being backstage.
